Use of the archive
Forensic Ledger is published as a public reference under fair use. You may read, link to, cite, and quote individual incident records for research, journalism, and education without restriction. Attribution (‘Source: Forensic Ledger’) is appreciated but not required.
Bulk scraping and API use
We do not publish a public API. Automated scraping at a polite rate (1 request/second or slower) is tolerated for academic and research use. Commercial redistribution of the full archive requires written permission.
No warranty
The archive is provided ‘as is’. Every record cites its primary source — you are responsible for verifying any fact before relying on it in a high-stakes context (legal filing, investment decision, audit report).
Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version always governs.
